Finalists Announced for the Funniest Filmmaker in Austin 2009!

...and at long last, the wait is finally over! The following are the finalists of this year's Funniest Filmmaker in Austin Contest. This year's competition received the most entries to date and the screening promises to be the funniest one yet!

The show, hosted by Matt Bearden, will start promptly at 8 pm, so be there early to make sure you catch every video! Judging will take place at the end of the screening and this year's panel includes Dale Roe (Television Writer at the Austin American-Statesman), Pat Hazell (Writer whose credits include Seinfeld, Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, and Showtime’s Aspen Comedy Special and is also a contributing commentator to National Public Radio) and last year's winner, Byron Brown.

Entrance to this event is free!

*NOTE: The screening will take place in the back room. Chick Shtick, the club's all-female comedy showcase, will take place in the front room.
